Wenatchee tennis dominates district championship

The WHS tennis team came out strong in the district championships tournament this on Monday, with junior Jack Yount winning the title of district champion title in singles and the team of seniors. Tobi Butler-Isaiah Banken taking the doubles district title home The girls doubles team Kaylynn Noyd-Anna Davenport also won the district title.

Sophomore Luke Andrewjeski followed closely behind, placing second in the singles tournament, and Yasmina Qazi placed second in the singles tournament.

All seven WHS qualifiers will be continuing on into the state championship in Richland on May 26-27.
