On November 1 the WHS varsity girls soccer team beat West Valley, one of the team’s biggest rivals. The final score was 2-1. Wenatchee’s goals were both scored by junior Jaden Griggs with one assisted by senior Erin Aamold. This concluded the regular Big 9 season, and was the first ever district 6 championship for the team. The team will move onto the state championships with their first game against Chiawana from Tri-Cities on November 7.
