WHS Bowling team topples competitors at Tower Classic Tournament

On Dec. 9 the WHS bowling team traveled to Tacoma and competed in the Tower Classic tournament. They competed against 14 schools and ended up in fifth place with a total of 3,338 pins beating out schools like,Cascade, Eisenhower, Olympic and Skyview.

Top scores for this tournament went to Freshman, Kylah Hankins with a score of 183 pins; Junior, Emilee Groth with a score of 176 pins; Senior, Taylor Bitterman with the scores of 161 and 180 pins; Senior, Chellbie Johnston with the score of 167 pins; and Junior, Jessica Holbrook with the scores of 167, 234, and 215 pins. With the total pin series of 616 pins, Holbrook placed second in the individual finishers.
