Gabe Mercer, A&E Editor

Gabe Mercer is the A&E editor for The Apple Leaf. She looks forward to adding her own style to the section. Besides being an editor, she is also a primary staff sports photographer.

Outside of the ‘pub’ room, Gabe spends her time playing soccer, practicing her french, or taking pictures. With dreams of one day working as a sports reporter for ESPN, Gabe finds her life revolving around sports, and ironically, reporting. With college applications in her near future, Gabe has already started the process by applying to the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. However, there are many more college applications in her future.

Gabe originally joined staff on a whim, but she now finds it to be her favorite part of her day. She has certainly found her niche and is thankful for all that the staff and Mr. Riggs have taught her.

You can contact Gabe at 509-881-1452 or via email at: [email protected].
