Boys swim and dive snags state times at Kentridge Invitational

The Wenatchee High School swim and dive team took fourth out of 34 teams and secured six state meets spots at the Kentridge Invite on Saturday.
The team of juniors Braden Dilly and Charlie Cutter, and freshmen Cameron Wheeler and Connor Elwyn qualified for state in the 400-yard freestyle relay and took seventh. Elwyn also qualified in the 100 backstroke, coming in fourth place, and 100 butterfly, taking fifth. Dilly achieved State times in both the 200 free, taking 10th, and qualified for a state berth in the 100 free in the first leg of the 400 free relay. Junior Eathyn Geren also qualified for state in diving, with a sixth-place finish.
The next meet is against West Valley in Yakima on Jan. 12.
