Natural Beauty Day, sponsored by Diversity Club, was held on Feb. 28 at Wenatchee High School. Girls were encouraged to show their natural beauty by abstaining from makeup all day. Boys were encouraged to support the girls. The walls of the school as well as bathroom mirrors were decorated with slogans providing support for natural beauty. A makeup washing station was set up in the front entrance for the morning. The next Diversity Club event will be the Day of Silence in April, which brings attention to those who have been silenced by bullying.
