The freshman season for football you could say was very successful and shows a bright future for the whs football program. “The team chemistry is great. We are all a big group of friends” Sebastian Borden, tight end and linebacker said. The Whole year they have used their bond and friendship to win big games and be a successful team. “We might not be the most athletic team, but our trust and hard work within each other has helped us be a great team,” Borden said. When asked about how next year will be because of the freshman moving up with everyone else “Next year will be great. I think us and the upperclassmen mesh really well,” Borden said. The future of these freshmen looks bright, moving forward to help build up this football program. Their biggest win was with Eisenhower,who supposedly were supposed to be a tough and long game. But they left them in the dust 45-0. Go freshman football!

Se podría decir que la temporada de primer año de fútbol fue muy exitosa y muestra un futuro brillante para el programa de fútbol de whs. “La química del equipo es genial. Todos somos un gran grupo de amigos”, dijo Sebastian Borden, ala cerrada y linebacker.
Todo el año han usado su vínculo y amistad para ganar grandes juegos y ser un equipo exitoso. “Puede que no seamos el equipo más atlético, pero nuestra confianza y trabajo duro entre nosotros nos ha ayudado a ser un gran equipo”, dijo Borden.
Cuando se le preguntó cómo será el próximo año debido a que el estudiante de primer año ascenderá con todos los demás, “El próximo año será genial. Creo que nosotros y los estudiantes de último año encajamos muy bien”, dijo Borden.
El futuro de estos estudiantes de primer año parece brillante, avanzando para ayudar a desarrollar este programa de fútbol. Su mayor victoria fue con Eisenhower, que supuestamente iba a ser un juego duro y largo. Pero los dejaron en el polvo 45-0. ¡Ve al fútbol de primer año!
