High schoolers wanted for Beauty of Bronze
September 30, 2016
If you are looking for a community service opportunity, the Art on the Avenues’ Beauty of Bronze program is looking for high school students to set up and break down the Andy Goldsworthy Challenge at 3:15 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7.
The Andy Goldsworthy Challenge is a sculpture building activity using only natural building materials, and will empower elementary students to push their creativity with natural art, according to Jeanette Marantos, the acting coordinator for Beauty of Bronze.
The event will take place at Fifth Street and Worthen Street, then walk to Riverfront Park, between Fifth Street and the miniature train railroad tracks.
If you are interested, call or text Marantos at (509) 630-1398.
