PRIDE assembly fosters school spirit
September 5, 2018
The Panther PRIDE Experience Assembly occurred Wednesday morning in the WHS gym. Activities included creating large crepe paper weavings to represent inclusivity, raising glow sticks to music to show engagement and creating a tunnel for classmates to illustrate positivity. Members of FFA, DECA, MEChA, Honor Society, Equestrian Club, Cheerleading and Football led the activities. The assembly introduced freshmen and sophomores to the school-wide behavior expectations summed up in the acronym PRIDE. PRIDE stands for Positive, Respectful, Inclusive, Determined and Engaged.
