Anessa Hanson is a junior at Wenatchee High School and is the Opinion Editor for the Apple Leaf this year. Anessa is a very committed leafy and has had a position in the Apple Leaf for three years now. When she is not doing something for her beloved paper, Anessa likes to spend her time playing volleyball, hanging out with friends or sipping on her fifth cup of coffee for the day. She enjoys long walks on the beach and beating people at table tennis or checkers. She’s fiercely competitive and will probably beat you, so don’t get your hopes up. However, she’s always looking for new competitors. Anessa is a social gal; who loves conversation and is heavily involved in her community. She is a part of RAK, Honor’s Society, Mock Trial and sports at WHS. Some of her passions include writing and painting. She loves to read and is always open to book recommendations.
