Eva Phillippi is returning to Apple Leaf for her second year, this time as the News Editor. She strives to make the most of every day, and she applies her values of integrity and creativity to find and cover the plethora of exciting stories happening at WHS. In school, she is the president of Creative Writing Club, co-captain of girl’s golf, and a member of Chamber Choir. Outside of school, when she isn’t writing, she enjoys pilates, cooking, playing piano and being outdoors. Unfortunately, she spends most of her time on homework, because she fantasizes of someday studying creative writing at an elite college somewhere where it rains a lot. Every morning, she is pulled from the comfort of her bed by the thought that if she works hard enough, she might someday use her passion for writing to fight climate change, and possibly travel the world working for National Geographic.
