Wenatchee Robotics qualifies three teams for State

Three of Wenatchee High School’s four robotics teams have qualified for the Robotics State Championship on March 4.
Two teams qualified by receiving the Excellence Award, and the other won the Tournament Champion Award at Central Washington University, January 28.
According to freshman Caitlyn Drolet, the Excellence Award was presented to the two teams for their outstanding teamwork skills and organized engineering notebooks, which contained the team’s plans and reflections. The Tournament Championship Award was earned by the WHS team who placed first in the qualifying and final rounds.
The Robotics State Championship will determine which teams will continue to the next level of competition.
The following students are members of the three teams who qualified:
Juniors Aaron Abelsen, Carlos Cruz, Diego Tornabene, Skylar Schuyleman, and freshmen Drolet, Marvey Casique, Willow Baker, Emily Williams, John Massey, and Kaiden Spolestra.
