Wenatchee soccer takes a loss to Kentridge
November 10, 2016
Wenatchee’s girls soccer team fell to Kentridge 3-1 on Tuesday, Nov. 8 in first round of the state playoffs.
The Panthers started out by scoring the first goal of the game early in the second half, but they were unable to stifle a rally by the opposing team, with Kentridge scoring their third goal in last ten minutes of the match.
“Throughout the whole season we worked really hard and connected well, but with state, it takes that extra effort, and we didn’t make it. But next year we can,” sophomore Ellie Toth said.
