Wenatchee swim and dive sweeps Eastmont in home meet
January 5, 2017
The Wenatchee High School boys swim and dive defeated Eastmont 140.5-45.5 on Tuesday at the WHS pool, taking first in every event.
“What I thought was particularly cool about this meet was the fact that we had so many freshmen win individual events,” Head Coach James Elwyn said. “We had [junior] Braden Dilly win two events, [junior] Eathyn Geren win one, but then the rest of the kids who took first place were freshmen.”
The other event winners were freshmen Connor Elwyn in the 100-yard freestyle and the 200 freestyle, Christian Cutter in the 50 free and the 100 breaststroke, Tage Madson in the 500 freestyle, and Cameron Wheeler in the 100 backstroke.
