Homecoming week is filled with fun traditions that will always be a part of the WHS Homecoming history. From girl’s flag football to the homecoming royalty court, the week is always an exciting one. With homecoming on the horizon, the boy’s volleyball tournament was next on the homecoming checklist. The traditional tournament was on Oct. 19, 2023. Five teams entered in hopes of victory. The team “The More-Men The Merrier”, sporting pink and white jerseys, came out on top. The games began at 7 p.m. in the main gym. Sets were played to 25, and every team put up a fight. The teams went all out on jerseys, from green and black crop tops to an array of NBA jerseys. The crowd’s favorite uniform was worn by the runner-up team, “Smash and Pass”. This team sported green and black tanks with a splattered volleyball on the front. “Smash and Pass” faced off with the winners “The More-Men The Merrier” in the championship, with “The More-Men The Merrier” boys taking the game.
