On Saturday, Nov. 7, Wenatchee High School’s Miguel Viramontes placed 68th and Claire Sirmon placed 82nd at the State cross country meet at Sun Willows Creek Golf Course in Pasco.

Viramontes placed 68th out of 143 runners in the 5,000-meter race with a personal best time of 16 minutes and 24.5 seconds.

Sirmon also ran a best time of 20:16.7 and placed 82nd out of 140 runners in the 5,000- meter race.
