Last week, Wenatchee High School ASB hosted Powderpuff football and Buffpuff volleyball. The events were organized by senior Cassie Noyd and junior Courtney Brown and their teams, and the events combined raised roughly $2,200.

“It’s such fun to see high school students in spirited competition,” Brent Grothe, ASB advisor said.

First, eight teams of girls took to the field to play football Monday evening. The Blitz Babes were the grand champions, beating the Babe Runners after a tie. Two days later, ten teams of boys played volleyball in the WHS gym. Oozma Kappa was the overall winner.
