The Wenatchee High School football team smashed the Davis Pirates last Friday by a score of 53-13. The WHS team was on fire, entering the third quarter with a 40-0 lead. Senior quarterback Dillon Sugg set a school record for passing yardage. The Panthers improved their overall record to 1-1. The team’s next game will be held Friday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m. in the Apple Bowl.
