Layne Knipfer, Editor-in-Chief
Quick. Agile. In a blink of an eye he leaves competitors in the dust. It’s not a bird. It’s not a plane. It’s definitely not congress passing legislation. It could be his metabolism. However, this humble young man is Lucas Jobe. He is a fine student. Layne Knipfer is the topic of this paragraph however. This year he has the pleasure of serving as the 2017-2018 Editor-in-Chief of The Apple Leaf. With fake news comes great responsibility (just kidding). Since last year, his life has changed substantially! Although he hasn’t given up being a proud soccer dad, Layne retired from being a part-time Sherpa, and is now a professional beach volleyball player. Catch him at Walla-Walla park from noon to dusk every day (who needs school?). Layne would like to thank you for reading this. You are helping to pay for his daughters’ soccer trips.
