Marisol Nava, Features Editor
Marisol Nava is a junior in her third year with The Apple Leaf and this year’s Features Editor.
She first joined as a freshman and has loved being part of the team ever since. Over the years,
she’s learned a lot about writing, teamwork and finding confidence in her voice. Outside of The
Apple Leaf, Marisol stays busy with school clubs and volunteering. She enjoys helping others,
whether it’s making someone’s day easier or getting involved in community projects. Meeting
new people and building connections are some of her favorite parts of being involved. When
she’s not working on a story or volunteering, Marisol enjoys spending time with her family and
friends. She admits she has a not-so-healthy obsession with shopping and buying things she
thinks she needs. Outgoing and inclusive, Marisol is excited to keep growing and making the
most of her third year with The Apple Leaf. As Features Editor, she hopes to be able to share
stories that shine a light on the unique people and experiences at Wenatchee High School.
