Welcome readers and newbie readers to a new column in The Apple Leaf, “A Slice of Opinion.” I’m very excited to have been invited to write an opinion piece. I hope you will enjoy reading it, after all, I always tell my family and friends how “everyone is entitled to MY opinion”.

I have been an Apple Leaf subscriber for quite some time. I find the paper to be informative and since I’ve moved away from Wenatchee, it keeps me connected to the area. I would like to thank The Apple Leaf staff for going online and making it possible for this column to be published.

Along with opinion pieces, The Apple Leaf also publishes quality news stories. Being able to keep readers informed of what is going on in WHS and the surrounding community is extremely important. Take advantage of your school newspaper either the printed or online version; you will be glad you do!
