ASB selects 2014-15 coordinators
Wenatchee High School’s ASB announced last night the final list of cabinet members and coordinators for 2014-15.
Juniors Maddie Steitz and Maddy Atwood have been selected as Activity Coordinators, as well as sophomore Claire Goveia. Junior Bryce Newberry will serve as the Assembly Coordinator. Junior Analise Nelson will become Video Coordinator, and junior Matt Murray was selected as the Publicity Coordinator.
Junior Devyn Blakney and sophomores Sami Everhart and Camille George will be Assistant Coordinators.
Goveia is excited to help out with events like Mr. Panther and the Janice Franz Talent Show alongside her fellow coordinators.
The coordinator team will join the elected ASB officers, president Luke Carlson, vice president Josey Meats, treasurer Jackson Powell, and secretary Sean Kelley.
Coordinators were selected through an intricate interview process. Each candidate was asked seven questions by adviser Brent Grothe, current Activities Coordinators Mary Rowles and Ali Marboe, current president Drake Holliday, current secretary Francesca Nevil, current treasurer Isaiah Kim, current Video Coordinator Joy Baumeister, along with Carlson, Powell, Meats, and Kelley.
The new cabinet will be sworn in during the Heart of the Panther assembly on May 30. Officers and coordinators will begin their work over the summer in order to be ready for the first day of school on Sept. 2.
