Bell schedule to be voted on
Next year’s bell schedule will be put to a vote tomorrow by the Wenatchee High School staff. The outcome of this vote will determine whether the current schedule will be reused or a new schedule is built with an integrated teacher prep period.
After collaborations with WHS staff and WenEA representatives, Principal Eric Anderson announced that the vote’s subject would be the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) needed to keep the schedule. Anderson also recommended that for the sake of consistency, the ongoing bell schedule should be retained one year longer.
If the MOU is approved, the current schedule format will be used for the 2016-2017 school year. If the MOU is denied, WHS staff will work together to assemble other options during March and April and if needed, and vote again in May.
