Boys soccer team takes a loss against Skyline

April 14, 2016

The Wenatchee High School boys soccer team lost against Skyline High School on April 13 at the Apple Bowl. The final score totaled 3-1, with Wenatchee’s only point coming from a penalty kick during the second half.

The team’s captain, junior Matt Springer, described how multiple factors played a role in Wenatchee’s defeat.

“It was kind of a tough game. We’d just come out of a game against Davis as well,” Springer said. “I’d say they were one of our rivals, it’s always interesting when we play them. We also didn’t play how we normally played, and that hurt us. It was a tough loss to take.”
