College and career expo held for high school students

November 4, 2015

More than 2,200 students shuffled their way into the Wenatchee Vally College gym at the College & Career Expo yesterday.

One hundred and five business and college exhibitors were present, with students from seven different schools in attendance, according to Director of Career and Technical Education Dennis Conger.

Conger said the Wenatchee High School Gear Up Mosaic staff provided the lanyards and other support for the event.

Thank you for covering the event and for the great pictures Apple Leaf! I wanted to add the NCW College and Career Expo was coordinated by Wenatchee Learns and Career and Technical Education in partnership with Wenatchee Valley College. We also received a $5000 stronger schools grant from the Community Foundation of North Central Washington that helped underwrite the costs of transportation for WHS students to attend the event at the college.
