Diana Haglund has been chosen by the Wenatchee School Board to coordinate the Wenatchee Learns program. Haglund was chosen to work with the school district and community members on a business partnership and volunteer program, according to a staff news release from Chet Harum, executive director of student and support services.

“It [Wenatchee Learns] is aimed at creating and maintaining community partnerships with individual volunteers and organizations for the sake of advancing learning in Wenatchee,” said the email from Harum.

Haglund has a Bachelor of Science in Public Communication and Public Relations Specialization from University of Idaho, as well as a Masters of Science in Leadership from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ.

Most recently, Haglund was the Wenatchee Site Director at Central Washington University. Harum noted that Haglund was the top choice out of 30 applicants.
