Heart of the Panther assembly honors students and staff

The annual Wenatchee High School Heart of the Panther awards ceremony presented five dedicated individuals and organizations with the Heart of the Panther award, while presenting excellence awards to several other WHS seniors.

The recipients of the Heart of the Panther award were as follows: Senior Isabel Howell received the Attitude award, senior Daisy Montejano received the Extra Effort award, the North Central Regional Library received the Community Support award, senior senior Madi McLaughlin received the Involvement award, and science teacher John Spencer received the Super Staff Member award.

In addition to Heart of the Panther, seniors Matt Springer and Karli Kuntz were awarded Boy and Girl of the Year. Other awards honored students of all grade levels in academic and athletic achievement, including those with high GPAs and scholarships.
