Mariachi Huenachi performs in Montana, covered by national news affiliate

Mariachi Huenachi made a 600 mile journey to Havre, Mont., in order to honor Hispanic Heritage month with a sold-out evening show was featured on Montana State CBS news.
The students had the opportunity to perform for both Havre Middle School and Havre High School, Mariachi instructor
Ramon Rivera said, followed by an evening performance at Montana State University Northern.
“I had the privilege of watching you perform at our school assembly and I could not wait to enjoy your evening performance with my family,” wrote one Montana teacher to Rivera. “It is very heartwarming to see young people embracing and sharing their culture.”
All seven seniors involved with Mariachi Huenachi applied to the Montana State University – Northern during the trip, Rivera said.
