Panthers reach history but lose to Chiawana, ending the season

The Wenatchee High School football team finished among the top eight teams in the state, after concluding its season with a loss to Chiawana, 56-33.

The team had previously lost to Chiawana during the regular season, 48-7.

Despite the second-round loss, the Panthers won a State playoff game for the first time since 1979, beating Gig Harbor 33-31 in the first round.
