Panthers slam Moses Lake at home
The Wenatchee High School volleyball team took down third-seeded Moses Lake on last night at home. The Panthers dominated the Chiefs by a score of 3-0, giving WHS a berth in the District 6 4A volleyball tournament.
“We worked really well as a team, and if we keep up the energy we had last night we will have a good chance this weekend,” senior hitter Aimee Sells said. “I am confident that we will compete and win both our games this weekend.”
Districts will be held this Saturday. The Panthers will play Eastmont at 2 p.m. in the West Valley High School gym. If the Panthers win, they will play at 5 p.m. against the loser of the one and two seed game between West Valley and Eisenhower. The winner of that final game will advance to the WIAA 4A state tournament.
