Panthers unite to show their school spirit before Homecoming

October 2, 2015

Two thousand Wenatchee High Schools students massed in the center of the Apple Bowl to form a giant paw print, under the strict guidance of sophomore Wil Jorgensen and senior Zoe Patch.

The student yearbook, WaWa, collaborated with North 40 photographer Jeff Ostenson to get the shot with a drone provided by North 40, which will be used as the cover for the 2016 yearbook.

After students flocked to their seats, the real festivities began. The assembly, led by sophomore Orlando Howe and senior Jack Gavin, was filled with dances from the four classes and even the teaching staff.

This year’s Homecoming court also made an appearance in the assembly in a Family Feud styled game show.
