PHOTOS: Basketball Packs the Gym for second annual event

In Wenatchee High School’s second annual Pack the Gym event held Jan. 30, the boys basketball team played a 10-minute game of basketball with special needs students. The event helps raise money for the Special Ed Prom that WHS hosts every spring.
Random Acts of Kindness club collected money during the dash for cash, raising about $600, to help foot the bill for the prom dance.
The assembly also featured the Apple-Ettes, who competed over the weekend in Quincy, the cheerleaders, and a competition coined “Cream the Cats” to prepare for the basketball doubleheader against Eastmont.
