Maya Scanlon, Edior-in-Chief
Maya Scanlon is ecstatic to be this year’s Editor-in-Chief of Operations! She’s a junior at Wenatchee High School and a second-year Leafie. Inside of school, she loves challenging herself in English, leading the young writers of The Apple Leaf and strutting the halls with her most colorful outfits. Outside of school, she loves to sing, binge movies, read murder mystery novels and drink chamomile tea. She spends her free time daydreaming of studying in an ivy-covered castle where classical music plays over a gramophone and rain spatters against the windows. She and her family are heavily involved with both the WHS drama department and multiple community theater programs. She hopes to pursue her biggest passion professionally as an actress.
