Veterans Day assembly honors soldier sacrifice

November 7, 2016

The students of Wenatchee High School attended the annual Veterans Day assembly today, an event that left students reminded of the costs of their freedom.

History teacher Stephen Roche recalled the history of Veterans Day and its impact on America. English teacher Mary Symonds told students what veterans day means to her and gave examples of soldiers and their family members alike who had made sacrifices for their country.

The assembly also featured performances from the Wenatchee High School choir and Hi-Tones.
