Wenatchee falls to West Valley

November 4, 2016

The Wenatchee varsity football team suffered defeat at the hands of West Valley tonight at the Apple Bowl in their last game of the season with a final score of 49-0.

The Panthers struggled in the first half, as Wenatchee was behind 32-0 at halftime. Wenatchee was not able to regain a lead racked up six turnovers, four interceptions and two fumbles, by the end of the night.

“It was just not a fun game,” head coach Scott Devereaux said. “We expected our best in the game, but it just didn’t work out that way.”
