Wenatchee trumps Eastmont in swim meet

September 29, 2016

The Wenatchee High School girls swim and dive team dominated Eastmont at the Eastmont pool in the usual fashion on Tuesday, winning 128-58. Swimmers won every event except the 100-yard butterfly and the 200 free relay.

Junior divers Aleah Bucknum and senior Alyssa Laney took second and third respectively.

This was not a great meet for WHS, according to head coach James Elwyn. He added that swimmers were tired from large volumes of training.
