Wenatchee volleyball takes narrow match over Chelan

The Wenatchee varsity volleyball team won a brutal, five-set match against Chelan last night.

The teams traded 25-23 sets, with Chelan going up early. The Goats went up 2-1 in the third set, putting the Panthers one set away from defeat. The team was able to rally, winning the last two nail-biting sets and opening their season with a win.

Junior Alli Hallberg was able to push the Panthers to victory with 27 kills on the night. Sophomore Demary Sugg had 40 assists for the match.
