WHS hires new career specialist
Patricia Phillips, who has served both Central Washington University and Wenatchee Valley College, will take over for Colleen Parks as the career specialist at Wenatchee High School, WHS Principal Bob Celebrezze announced today.
Phillips will be helping students with tasks such as guidance through scholarships, college applications, and standardized testing. She had years of similar experience at Wenatchee Valley College and Central Washington University-Wenatchee Center.
With her certification as a computer applications specialist, administrative assistant, and proofreader/editor, Phillips is prepared to take over for Parks with assisting students in the Career Center, Celebrezze said.
