Another football win keeps Panthers first in league

Senior Isaiah Brandt-Sims attempts to a score a touchdown but comes just short.

The Wenatchee High School Panthers defeated the Davis Pirates for a second time last Friday to boost their overall record to 5-1, putting them first in the league.

The Panthers beat the Pirates 17-8, struggling in the first half with only a 3-2 lead.

One contribution to the overall score was a fumble on the first and a goal. Senior Isaiah Brandt-Sims contributed to the Panther’s win with two touchdowns.

Another key contribution to the Panthers’ win was the defense, with another impressive performance by senior lineman Jakob Stoll.

The Panthers will continue their season with an away game against Moses Lake on Friday.
