Artist Skylar Stecker to perform with Mariachi Huenachi

On March 29, Wenatchee High School will be hosting the famous teen artist Skylar Stecker as she performs along with Mariachi Huenachi. Skylar has been in the spotlight since she was 12, when she first performed at the 2012 International Modeling & Talent Association Awards in Los Angeles. Since then, she has performed the National Anthem more than one hundred times for various professional sporting events, and released one studio album and ten singles.

The free concert is to congratulate the Mariachi Huenachi on their win of the “Music Inspires” Music in Our Schools Tour contest.  Mariachi Huenachi will also be receiving a Radio Disney “ARDY” Award and a $5,000 grant from the Give a Note Foundation and the Country Music Awards. The concert starts at 7 p.m. at the WHS gym, and will be followed by a free meet-and-greet from 8-9 p.m.
