After being five points behind, the Wenatchee High School Knowledge Bowl Team surged to a comeback victory in the Ephrata Knowledge Bowl Tournament on Dec. 9 with 84 points.

The Panthers took three teams to the tournament and Wenatchee One (seniors Alexa Andre, Daniel Paulson, and Sophia Nordt) grabbed first place, according to coach Chris Cloke. Cascade High School’s (Leavenworth) team took second place, with 81 points. Thirty teams from North Central Washington competed.
