The original article stated that Jordan Hartley swam a time of 1 minute, 59.50 seconds in the 500-meter freestyle. This information is incorrect and has been removed.

The stage was all set for the first annual Columbia Basin Big Nine Championship meet last night at Moses Lake High School.

And the Wenatchee Panthers stole the show, dominating with a score of 706 points, beating the next closest team by 314 points.

WHS’s 200-meter relays came in first and second and both swam state-qualifying times. The first-place team consisted of Kayli Elwyn, Isabelle Dressel, Kailie Wulf, and Victoria Peterson. The second-place team consisted of Hannah VanHeyningen, Rebecca Bay, Audrey Parish, and Jessica Wierzbicki. The 200-meter freestyle relay team also placed first with a time of 1:40.65
