Seniors’ last hoorah: The Class of 2014 party

The parents of seniors and ASB members will once again throw a senior party at  Wenatchee High School to congratulate the seniors on their milestone. The doors open at 11 p.m. tonight and the party will end at 3 a.m. with no reentry allowed.

The party will be in the WHS commons and main gym. It’ll include tons of food, music, dancing, casino games with added raffle prizes, inflatable toys, and the classic hypnotist. All of this is thanks to many community businesses as well as the suggested $40 donation from each senior family. With all of these funds, the party hosts will be able to give out huge prizes to the winners of the raffle ticket drawing, including the grand prize of $500.

“A great party has been in the works since early this year. All seniors are welcome to attend,” said Nel Wheeler, one of the party organizers.

Waivers are available in the ASB office and on the WHS homepage. If students are 18 and over, they may sign the waivers at the door with photo ID.
