This year’s total came to $7,060 for the Forsberg family, and about 800 people attended the show this year, talent show coordinator Claire Goveia said.

The show is put on every year by ASB, which also received help from the tech crew and their adviser James Wallace, Goveia said.

Goveia has been the coordinator for two years, and Goveia said she loved every bit of both years. “Both the shows were great. The talented students at Wenatchee High School leave people in awe every year, and support the generosity from the community we get for our cause is unlike anything I’ve ever seen,” Goveia said.

The show’s proceeds went to WHS junior Kayla Forsberg to help her pay for her treatment of a type of cancerous brain tumor.
