The Wenatchee Varsity volleyball team came out of the season with 11 wins and 5 loses. Overall, Wenatchee had the second best record in the Columbia Basin League, the first being West Valley.

“I thought the season went good, we did better than last year,” said junior Maeghan Wulf. “A lot of the girls that were on the team last year were on the team this year so it brought us even closer, they’re like my second family.”

Wenatchee had beaten Eastmont every time until it came to the game that determined if they were going to State. Their game with Eastmont had a ending score of 3-2, preventing Wenatchee from advancing to State.
