Wenatchee bowling takes down Sunnyside at home

Wenatchee’s varsity girls bowling team crushed Sunnyside this afternoon at Eastmont Lanes. The final score was 4-0, and Wenatchee beat Sunnyside by a total of 334 pins.

The first game gave the Panthers the lead with a score of 706-581 pins. Sophomore Jessica Holbrook rolled the high of the first game with a score of 155. Not only did the Panthers beat Sunnyside again in the second game, but they also racked up 806 pins, a 100 pin improvement from the first game.

Senior Delaney Yant bowled the high of the day with a score of 223. Sophomore Noel Menzel achieved a personal best roll of a 181.

“This is a time where there was a team that we should have beaten, and we did,” head coach Jeff Leavitt said. “It was never even close.”
