Wenatchee bowling tops Davis by 387 pins

The Wenatchee High School girls bowling team won all four of its games against Davis yesterday at Eastmont Lanes, with a pin difference of 387.

Wenatchee scored pin counts of 731 and 796 in their first and second games, and scored a 175 and 138 in their two Baker games. Wenatchee broke its habit of 600 games to have more consistent scores, a goal for the team, according to head coach Jeff Leavitt said.

Senior Delaney Yant scored the day’s high of 171, while junior Taylor Bitterman rolled a 166. Sophomores Jessica Holbrook, Maddie Burril and Emilee Groth rolled scores of 159, 158 and 156 respectively.

The Panthers’ next game is on Dec. 15 against Eisenhower.
