WHS Girls Golf will soon enter districts after two successful games

The WHS Girls Golf team will have seven members compete at districts on May 15. Recently, in their last two games at Moses Lake and West Valley, the WHS team came in first and second respectively.

At the Moses Lake game Wenatchee scored a total of 390 points, 12 points below their closest competitors. Taylor Takasugi scored 81, Ashley Turner scored 98, Sarah Woods scored 103, Emily Aumell scored 108, Julia Neff scored 112 and Courtney Brown scored 114.

At the West Valley game Wenatchee scored 430 points, narrowly missing out to Davis with 427 points. Taylor Takasugi score 84, Ashley Turner scored 100, Sarah Woods scored 116, Courtney Brown scored 130, Jenna Osburn scored 132 and Emily Aumell scored 134.

Team captain Taylor Takasugi, along with Ashley Turner, Sarah Woods, Julia Neff, Emily Aumell, Courtney Brown and Jenna Osburn will all compete at districts. The State Championships will be held on May 22 and May 23 at the Sun Willows golf course in Pasco, WA.
