On Thursday, Nov. 19, the Health Occupations class will be going around the school throughout the day passing around Dum-Dums with facts about tobacco users. They will also be putting factual posters around the school to warn people about the dangers of smoking.

“You can’t reverse cancer, you can’t reverse black lung, and you can’t reverse what you do to your body,” senior Mylasha Draughn said.

The program includes “Tobacco Soup,” a mixture of what can be found in tobacco, marijuana, and illegal drug products. The mixture will be put in display in a large bowl.

The Health Occupations class will be showing a informational video about the true dangers of teen tobacco and drug use.
