On Monday, the Wenatchee High School Knowledge Bowl team placed second at the regional competition, qualifying for the State Knowledge Bowl Tournament in Arlington on March 18.  Moses Lake High School, the returning Knowledge Bowl state champions, took first.

This particular state-qualifying team is made up of sophomore Will Cannon, sophomore Simon Vincini, junior Cascade Crum, junior Rebecca Devereaux, junior Chris Danko, and senior Hendrik Keyser.

Rebecca Devereaux went to state her freshman year, so this experience will not be a new one for her.

“I think we will do well, maybe not win, but I think we are just excited to be going and to have the experience. All that matters is that we enjoy it,” Devereaux said.
